MATRIX : A Printmaking Exhibition

This exciting exhibition features art work by 23 Bay Area printmakers and includes many different techniques including:

- stencil printing on fabric

You can see the artist's carved wood or etched plate or other matrix displayed next to the print as well as an excellent description of each process.

"Dancing Butterflies" is my etching/digital art print inspired by my love of Japanese wood block prints.

"Geisha is Grey" is a monoprint from the same etching plate.

The Race: 19"x32" framed
The Race is a monoprint from a small plexi plate incised with the image of a single bicyclist
and then printed 3 times to give the impression of racing bicyclists.
